When Sam and I met Piggy and Ralph, none of us admitted that we were even at the dance.
We relit the fire and struggled to keep it going. With only three of us working, I got tired very quickly. I started to wonder if all this work for the fire could really save us. Sam and I argued with Ralph about keeping the fire burning, and he decided to abandon it for the night. When we all lay down to sleep, Sam began whispering in my ear. He began talking about joining Jack, an idea I opposed. We began arguing and then starting fighting. Piggy and Jack heard us and told us to stop. Next thing I knew there was a person kicking me in the face. I got up and punched him. We fought for about a minute, and I got him pretty good before he left. Sam and I ran over to Piggy and Ralph. They were fine, but Jack had stolen Piggy’s glasses.
